BaByliss Milestone
In the early sixties, Monsieur Lelievre, a famous Parisian hair designer, got the idea of making by his own hands the first electrical appliances to make curls.
His product was such a success that many clients asked him to get their own. His genius idea was to have his creation spread over the world. For this, he had to find an industrial and business partner, Monsieur Feldblum was the perfect man for this, he launched this iron into the retail and pro channels, but before he had to give a name to is…
At that moment, Paris was really the hotspot for all that involved fashion, music and movies. Paris was where all cultures converge, and Monsieur Lelievre and Monsieur Feldblum were in the core of these trends. Some people say that the two capital letters <<B>> were due to a star actress and fashion icon. Others say that because of the influence of the music from UK, the name was to sound English.
Anyway, the name BaByliss was on the spot in all the mouth, and became from that moment such a landmark that even today, people still call an iron a BaByliss!
